Description

“First time vinyl issue of key works from Belgian artist-musician Moniek Darge releases by Horn of Plenty.

Following a deep-excavation of the Logos archives London’s Horn of Plenty presents ‘Bratschebraut’. This LP contains four pieces from the 1980’s, the same era as Moniek’s classic ‘Sounds of Sacred Places’ LP.

Although they were recorded across a seven year period and were not intended to compliment each other, the music on ‘Bratschebraut’, seen retrospectively, captures a pivotal era in Moniek’s artistic development. A period that saw her challenge, destroy, then create anew. This LP is both a significant addition to Moniek’s catalogue and an important historical document.

‘Bratschebraut’ comes beautifully packaged with full colour sleeve, on red vinyl, with a fanzine featuring artist’s notes and previously unpublished photos alongside details from the original graphic score for ManMo.“
